VMeta at Asia Tech x Singapore 2022: Growing Need for Real-Time Analytics for NFT

In conjunction with AsiaTech x Singapore 2022 taking place this week from the 31st of May to the 3rd of June, Tara Neal, Executive Editor at The Fast Mode spoke to Sam Ng, Founder at VMeta, on the company's plans at this year's event, the trends in the NFT space as well as the need for real-time analytics for NFTs.

Tara: What are some of the most recent trends in the NFT market?

Sam: NFT is still in its early stages. However, it’s already greatly influencing certain industries, including gaming, media and entertainment and art, with the scale of project scales getting bigger. Big corporations and brands are also paying an active role in this area. Basic usage includes membership, coupon and digital collectibles. As a result, we have seen the growth of phyitial (physical + digital) over the last few months by big brands. People are still looking for an anchor point for NFT to be become mainstream.

Tara: How does real-time analytics drive the NFT market?

Sam: NFT market change rapidly. Without real-time data, NFT investors or traders can miss a huge opportunity just in a couple of minutes, or even seconds. When there are more and more different NFT projects, exchanges and participants, the need for more analytics and intelligence will be critical.

Tara: Are you excited to be part of ATxSG? What are your key showcases at the event?

Sam: Yes, I certainly am! ATxSG is a great place hub to meet founders and investors in the tech space. To exchange knowledge and meet new friends. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, we haven’t been able to actually participate in physical events. We'll be flying in from Hong Kong to exhibit and show the world that even amongst the COViD-19 outbreak, innovation hasn't stopped and NFT is growing quickly together with the metaverse and other Web3 technology.

At the event, we would like to show people our latest NFT analytics products and how to analyze and invest in NFTs.
