ABI Research reports via its “Policy 3.0 and Monetization Techniques: Reality vs. Hype”, that the Policy and Charging Control (PCC) market will reach nearly US$3 billion in 2018 with growth coming as subscribers acclimate to innovative, granular, and personalized price plans. ABI Reserach, a market research and market intelligence firm based in New York, also brought to attention that the advanced Policy 3.0 solutions will equip operators to rapidly develop new plans and packages while discovering the subscriber’s willingness to pay and leading PCC vendors will help the service providers to increase financial performance, especially in relation to their mobile broadband operations.

Joe Hoffman, research director at ABI Research“Everyone knows that a one-price-fits-all is not an optimum pricing solution,” comments Joe Hoffman, research director at ABI Research, “and we see the 3GPP PCC vendors innovating to address operator’s needs. Now we have the advent of Policy 3.0, and that leads to the Smart Network of Tomorrow.”  Read More 'Mobile Operators to “Kick it up a Notch” with Policy 3.0 as the Policy Market Heads Toward US$3 Billion by 2018'
