Three to offer ‘mind-blowing value’ on back-to-basics PAYG from 1st July

Openet Openet

As part of its 'back to basics" policy, mobile operator 3 has reinvented its pay-as-you-go (PAYG) proposition by slashing the cost of making calls and downloading data from 1st July. The new plan is called, simply, 3-2-1, with calls costing 3p (down from the earlier rate of 26p) per minute, texts 2p (down from 11p), and data 1p (down from 65p) per MB and offers unused credit rolling over from month to month.

"Dolphins, monkeys and bolt-ons? Somewhere along the way Pay As You Go got pretty complicated. We believe in keeping things simple as well as offering our customers great value for money. We don’t believe you should have to convert your credit to get the most for your money (not unless you want to anyway!) Neither do we think you should have to pay high base rates just because you choose not to buy an add-on. That’s why we’ve decided to go back to basics and make things as simple as 3-2-1."
