SIGFOX, a leading provider of a cellular network dedicated to the Internet-of-Things (IoT), last week appointed Xavier Drilhon as the deputy CEO. The appointment will allow Ludovic Le Moan, CEO and co-founder of SIGFOX to focus on the company’s global growth strategies, said Sigfox.
A graduate of Telecom Sud Paris and of Harvard Business School, Drilhon, 48, began his career at Arthur Andersen and KPMG Peat Marwick. He has previously worked for Oberthur Technologies, a world leader in digital security solutions for the mobility space. Present in 50 countries, with 6,500 employees and a turnover of nearly 1 billion euros, Oberthur operates in a range of sectors, such as telecom, payment, digital identity, transport and access control. As general manager, he helped transform the company from a French provider of smart cards into a worldwide leader in digital security.
