LogiSense, a global provider of Usage Rating and Billing solutions to the Telecom, Hosted Communications, Machine-to-Machine (M2M/IoT), and Unified Communications industries, has appointed Rob Payne to the leadership team as Chief Technology Officer. Rob was previously Senior Vice President of Global Services accountable for the CIO role at Blackberry. Rob will lead technical initiatives supporting LogiSense’ vision of monetizing the Usage Economy™ and will help customers realize maximum long term value from the platform. 

The company has also announced that the EngageIP Usage Rating and Billing platform is expanding its footprint with four new secured contracts in the Communications Service Provider (CSP) and Cloud enterprise notification platform industries. According to LogiSense, the new contracts are from a Cloud-Based Communications Provider, a leading FTTH Internet Service Provider servicing over 71,000 consumers, a CSP specializing in wholesale voice, SMS, and platform services to OTT and voice service providers and a Cloud Telephony Service Provider.
