at renowned industry leaders, including Vodafone and KPN, showcasing his ability to navigate and thrive in competitive international markets. In his previous role as Group Managing Director of LeasePlan Corporation, Reinier oversaw the rapid expansion of the organization, with a dedicated focus on
transitioning to electric vehicles. This experience underscores his strategic vision and readiness to steer Fairphone in this new growth phase. Reinier joins Fairphone following a pivotal year for the company, marked by its celebration of a decade of ethical innovation and the receipt of a substantial €49 million investment from forward-thinking impact investors. This injection of capital
empowers Fairphone to accelerate its growth trajectory while pursuing its core mission of fostering fairer electronics globally.
