Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, this week announced the appointment of Steven McChesney as its CMO.
In his new role, McChesney will help Acronis build awareness around the importance of cyber protection, while focusing on the overall marketing strategy for the Swiss-Singaporean company. McChesney’s area of focus will be accelerating the transition of Classic (on-premises) to Cloud business and the acquisition and enablement of service providers, said Acronis.
McChesney has extensive experience in the fields of technology marketing, sales, and business development, and most recently held the position of VP of Global Marketing for F5 Networks. Prior to that role, he held various positions at F5, Druva, and Visio – and his tenure at Midisoft and Egghead Software, as well as his experience serving clients while at multiple agencies, brings valuable insights in driving demand at scale.
