In conjunction with the upcoming Digital Transformation World 2022, Ariana Lynn, Senior Editor at The Fast Mode spoke to Carlo Daffara, CEO of NodeWeaver on his plans for DTW 2022, announcements to expect from NodeWeaver at the event and some of the company's key showcases.

Ariana: Which summit will NodeWeaver be participating in?

Carlo: We are one of the startups selected for Next20, so we will be present there with a booth and we will participate in the pitching event.

Ariana: What are some of the key announcements we can expect from NodeWeaver at the event?

Carlo: We will launch our latest version of the NodeWeaver edge platform, which allows the execution of workloads at bare metal speed, but with the manageability of a cloud service. Along with that, we will present our latest customer use cases - a Fortune 500 cruise ship operator and a major European retailer.

Ariana: What will be NodeWeaver's major showcases?

Carlo: We will have a full live demonstration of our platform, adapted for telco uCPE applications, and we will show how we can take advantage even on ultra-small devices like system-on-chip devices and fanless systems.

Ariana: How does it feel to be back physically at DTW 2022? What’s your Copenhagen experience?

Carlo: It feels wonderful! I have been in Copenhagen many times, and it has always been a delightful experience. I also look forward to meeting so many friends and colleagues in the telco world. Apart from the conference, the networking opportunities when you meet in person are invaluable.

Carlo Daffara is Co-Founder and CEO of NodeWeaver, developers of the first autonomous and self-managing edge cloud platform; Italian member of the European Working Group on Libre Software and co-coordinator of the working group on SMEs of the EU ICT task force.
