Nokia will be showcasing a range of interactive demonstrations and exhibits that highlight its 5G technology how its networks are focused on future readiness and performance, as well as sustainability and efficiency.
Tara: How has the pandemic impacted the operational and business landscape of the tech segment you are operating in?
John: The pandemic and lockdowns impacted our industry like every other in terms of the supply chain, work force and so on. However, it also highlighted the importance of what we do in delivering reliable, high-quality connectivity and services.
Tara: What emerging trends/technologies have you observed in your tech segment in recent months?
John: We are starting to see a greater push for 5G-Advanced networks which will develop 5G to its fullest capabilities. Another key priority for the telecoms industry in 2022 and the coming years is sustainability. 5G-Advanced can play a role in addressing the global bid to reduce carbon footprints. Also, Open-RAN in diversifying the telco ecosystem by enabling multi-vendor interoperability will be a big topic as well as the deployment of private wireless networks is also set to accelerate this year.
