The IETF-87 meeting (July 28 – August 2, 2013) sessions that have started yesterday in Berlin witnessed experts from the industry discussing the Internet Protocol (IP) improvements such as 'running PKIX over Secure HTTP', 'defining IPv6 over IEEE802.15.4e ' and 'DNSSDEXT: Extensions for DNS'. The last the industry players congregated for this event was in August 1997 in Munich – a good 15 years back !!
The discussion sessions that started yesterday will also have a technical plenary to define the 'OPUS Codec (RFC 6716)'. The next event will be held in Vancouver, BC, Canada on November 3rd to 8th, 2013 -IETF-88. |
