The leading Japanese Telecoms and IT solution provider, Fujitsu is partnering with Midokura, a leading network virtualization and Software Defined Networking (SDN) company to develop private cloud platform software for enterprises. The joint solution which will be available in December 2014 will be based on Openstack, an open-source software cloud computing platform. The solution will be riding on Midokura’s MidoNet network virtualization software integrated with Fujitsu's private cloud orchestrator, ServerView Resource Orchestrator (ROR).
The integrated ROR solution will benefit enterprises to build scalable and fault-tolerant multi-tenant private clouds.

“We are pleased to have partnered with Midokura to offer solutions to enhance OpenStack-based clouds with network virtualization. To meet the needs of our cloud customers, we have responded by adding OpenStack to our solution offerings, and we are continuing to invest in many areas — such as deployment and operational support services, additional hardware support, and of course, we are working to improve Fujitsu Software ServerView Resource Orchestrator, our private cloud platform software. We are confident that by partnering with Midokura, we can successfully fulfill the needs of our cloud customers.”
