China Telecom Completes 4G Network IPv6/IPv4 Dual-Stack Testing with ZTE Solutions

China Telecom partnering with ZTE has successfully completed the IPv6 testing on its 4G LTE network, demonstrating IPv6/IPv4 dual-stack capabilities and commercial IPv6-ready 4G LTE network. This will enable China Telecom to be able to support a large number of IP addresses and next-generation services on its 4G LTE network.

The testing which covered IPv4/IPv6 single- and dual-stack services, billing systems and backend IT infrastructure systems was conducted in the Hunan province. According to ZTE, China Telecom deployed its solutions including eNB, SAE-GW,MME,HSS/3GPP AAA, HSGW ,CG and ePCF/eHRPD in the 4G LTE network within the area.
