Telefónica Selects Comarch's OSS Fulfillment to Deliver Next Generation OSS

Telefónica has chosen Comarch to deliver next-generation OSS for network planning and optimization in Europe via the carrier's global operating business unit, Telefónica Global Resources, based in Madrid. The OSS/BSS transformation partnership will enable Telefónica to move towards leaner operations, shortening time-to-market and allowing global, replicable products and services without hard customizations, thus reducing integration costs and efforts. The contract will include a number of Comarch Next Generation OSS components, well-suited for fully convergent networks, and covering the following areas: Planning (Radio Access Network), Activation, Catalog, Service Order Manager, Resource Order Manager, Service InventoryResource Inventory, Resource Discovery and Data Synchronization and Fulfillment for Resource and Service Layers. Comarch’s Next Generation Network Planning and Next Generation Service Fulfillment will be the core solutions implemented within the project.
