Australian Operator, Optus today unveiled a new range of unlimited home broadband plans designed to make it even easier for customers to stream, watch and browse any content they want. With Optus’ new unlimited home broadband bundles, customers can choose from three flavours - Home Entertainment Bundle, Big Bundle and Ultimate Home Bundle.

The Home Entertainment and Ultimate Home Bundle are unlimited plans that are bundled with on-demand entertainment with Optus TV with Fetch, providing Netflix and access to YouTube as well as access to premium channels such as ESPN, Disney Channel and E! Entertainment.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, households are using more broadband data than ever before, with Australians downloading more than 1.1 million terabytes of data throughout 2014, an increase of 35% from the previous year. Demand for data continues to grow as Australians take advantage of on-demand video services, with 52% of adults viewing TV shows or feature films via the internet, said Optus.

Vicki Brady, Managing Director, Marketing & Product, Optus
Every household is different, but customers tell us they want plans that give them the freedom to use their data around the clock and without speed limits. With video-on-demand and streaming services becoming mainstream, we know that unlimited data is fast becoming a must have for many Aussie families. Optus is responding to changing consumer behaviour with plans that deliver everything customers have been asking for – loads of data, bundling options to suit their lifestyle, all delivered over a reliable network.
