Symbio, a software company specialising in voice communications, has appointed Michael Omeros as its new Chief Executive Officer. Omeros brings a wealth of industry experience and a proven track record of success, positioning him to lead Symbio into its next phase. With an extensive background in the voice industry and as an Executive Director at the Aussie Broadband Group, Omeros is poised to leverage his expertise to further enhance Symbio's presence in the market.

As a co-founder and former Managing Director of Over the Wire Holdings Limited, prior to its acquisition by Aussie Broadband Group, Omeros has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and IT services sectors. Through his tenure, he has cultivated a deep understanding of wholesale voice and driving strategic growth initiatives.

Symbio’s co-founder and previous CEO Rene Sugo will continue in an advisory role to facilitate the transition until June 2024. Symbio's Executive team and staff will remain in place and continue changing the way the world communicates.
