Consolidated Communications last Thursday received the Fiber Broadband Association’s All Fiber Certification during Fiber Connect 2023. The company was recognized for ensuring its customers can access the fastest, most reliable broadband connectivity available. The All Fiber Certification is available to Fiber Broadband Association members who demonstrate a high-level of strategic commitment to fiber deployment by ensuring 90% or more of their networks rely on fiber optic infrastructure.
Consolidated is building fiber throughout its service area, reaching 1 million passings earlier this year. Through company investment and public-private partnerships, Consolidated is delivering symmetrical, multi-gigabit fiber to some of the hardest to reach, rural locations in its 20-plus state service area.
Gary Bolton, President and CEO at the Fiber Broadband Association
Service providers, like Consolidated, are leveraging fiber to connect their communities and customers to high-quality internet and digital services that will support broadband needs for decades to come. I congratulate Consolidated on its certification. The more All Fiber service providers we celebrate, the closer we get to providing reliable connectivity to every corner of North America and closing the digital equity gap forever.
Gaurav Juneja, president of Consumer for Consolidated
Wiring rural America with fiber is hard work. However, the benefits of fiber broadband to rural America will not be fully realized until the last mile and network is built, and this requires unwavering commitment. We appreciate this recognition of our ongoing work and commitment to deliver fiber broadband to our communities.
