BSS vendor, Redknee Solutions announce that it has signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal with Chilean mobile operator WOM.

Since its launch in July 2015, WOM has been leading the portability numbers, achieving 2 million customers in 16 months. WOM acquired the former operations and network of Nextel in January 2015, launched operations in July and set itself the goal of reaching 85% 4G coverage, a goal that it has already reached.

This BSS transformation project comes at a time when WOM is experiencing rapid growth and needs an agile business support solution to meet the company's ambitious growth plans and roadmap, said Redknee.

Redknee added that its real-time monetization and subscriber management solution, including the full Redknee Unified stack, will improve WOM's innovation and creativity by allowing it to launch new offerings that differentiate itself in the market, improve operational efficiency, and create greater business value.

Stefan Evergad, CTO, WOM
We are confident in our decision to choose Redknee as partner in this critical transformation. We are looking forward to working together with Redknee for joint success.

Lucas Skoczkowski, CEO, Redknee
We are pleased to support one of the fastest growing companies in the Americas. Redknee's agile and flexible real-time monetization and customer care solution allows WOM to turn its creativity into market differentiation. Redknee's solutions can support any type of service, allowing our customers to easily create new services, revenue streams and support a consistent omni-channel customer experience.
