Globe Telecom, through its enterprise information communications and technology arm Globe Business has selected NetApp SolidFire to accelerate its cloud offerings.

NetApp SolidFire is a all-flash storage systems built for the next-generation data center where simple scaling, set-and-forget management, guaranteed performance and multi-tenancy, and cloud economic models are driving new market growth.

Through the SolidFire platform, it will modernize its data center infrastructure, allowing it to equip its customers with cloud technology’s transformational capabilities, said NetApp.

The company claims that Globe Business customers can meet their storage capacity and performance needs today and in the future at a cost two to three times lower than before with SolidFire’s automated, scalable infrastructure. They can also control performance and capacity independently, without downtime or disruption. In addition, customer data will always stay safe and secure through SolidFire’s always-on-data-at-rest encryption and real-time replication.
