Seattle-based machine learning startup for the Internet of Things (IoT) security, Tempered Networks announced it has raised $10 million in a series B funding round, led by Rally Capital with participation from existing investors. Last year, the company raised $15 million in its series A investment round, bringing the company’s total funding to $22 million at that time.

The company's next generation security platform enables organizations to rapidly deploy identity-based overlay networks to ‘cloak’ trusted endpoints, networks and assets.

This round of funding was closed in August and brings the total amount of financing the company has raised to approximately $32 million. The company said it will continue to focus on creating product differentiation, hiring top tier talent, and broadening its global sales and distribution channels.

Tempered Networks also announced that Dennis Weibling, Managing Director at Rally Capital, has joined its Board of Directors.
