Openet, today announced its latest ‘Free-to-Use’ software, Openet’s Digital Enterprise Gateway(DEG) which supports players within the wholesale and enterprise ecosystem. Few months back, the leading BSS(business support systems) vendor also made availabile its VNF Lifecycle Manager software as a community edition to operators, system integrators and VNF/NFV vendors

Openet said that the DEG provides a single interconnect point to multiple applications and packet gateways to simplify internal network routing rules. For wholesale providers it reduces the complexity, simplifies the on-boarding process of new customers, provides real-time accounting reports and reduces operational costs. The availability of the DEG will significantly reduce revenue leakage for wholesale customers while improving experience for service users by exposing real-time data feeds. This capability will enable the wholesale customer to focus on customer engagement and the deployment of innovative offers and services.

Openet leverages its experience with tier one network operators to support wholesale customers throughout the lifecycle of their business by providing three complementary propositions; consultancy, an MVNE platform offering a suite of BSS/OSS functionality, and ongoing support and Managed Services.

This fully hosted solution supplies fully integrated OSS (real time charging and policy controls) and BSS designed to make on-boarding, management and growth as simple as possible. It also provides complete visibility and control capabilities, said Openet.

Rich offerings and subscriber experience are key for both wholesale customers and providers, and our DEG will not only enable those capabilities, but do so in a more efficient way. We’ve called upon our years of technical experience, operational excellence and business knowledge to allow operators to support the unique needs of wholesale customers.
