Indosat Ooredoo Partners GoSwiff to Launch Mobile Payment Acceptance Solutions

Indosat Ooredoo recently launched its mobile payment acceptance solution, D-Pay. The launch saw Indosat Ooredoo collaborating with GoSwiff International, a financial services solutions provider, as technology and business partner, and with BNI as the acquiring bank.

D-Pay is a financial service that gives merchants the freedom to accept mobile payments, allowing their customers to make payments using debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB) and via eWallet, anywhere, anytime at enabled D-Pay merchants.

D-Pay transforms merchants’ mobile devices into multifunctional payment platforms, enabling merchants that do not have access to the relevant infrastructure or do not generate sufficient revenue to qualify for traditional Point-of-Sale (POS) services, to accept card payments by shifting to Mobile Point-of-Sale (mPOS). This shift will empower merchants to increase their sales and number of customers, and ultimately grow their businesses. From the customer’s perspective, mPOS will make the digital payment experience more secure and convenient.

The use of digital payments is helping create a new generation of merchants, who are able to accept payments in methods other than cash, and also benefits customers by making the transaction easier, safer and more efficient, said Indosat Ooredoo.

Prashant Gokarn, Chief of New Business and Innovation Officer Indosat Ooredoo
D-Pay is the latest product from our Mobile Financial Business. In addition to our current products – electronic wallet, bill payments, eCommerce payments, domestic and international money transfer and branchless banking, D-Pay will help reduce cash collection and logistics costs for our eCommerce partners, which will in turn benefit customers with lower prices and assured deliveries.

Randy Pangalla, Head of Mobile Finance Group Indosat Ooredoo
It’s a strong collaboration with GoSwiff as technology partner and BNI as the acquiring bank. We believe our expertise will strengthen the partnership in market acquisitions and innovation, while providing better services for our customers.
