Mobile Network Operator in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzmobile Telecom has chosen Anite’s Nemo Drive Testing and Benchmarking tools to help the Operator optimize its multimode radio network - CDMA450, EV-DO, GSM, WCDMA and LTE-A.

Uzmobile Telecom is the smaller operator of the total five operators in the Uzbekistan market which is presently dominated by Ucell that is controlled by TeliaSonera and Beeline, a subsidiary of Vimpelcom.

Uzmobile Telecom will be using a wide range of Anite gears, including Nemo Outdoor, Nemo Invex II, Nemo FSR1, Nemo Analyze, and Nemo Commander. The Nemo Commander will be used for remote control and management of the other tools to enable process improvements and efficiency gains, streamlining OPEX.

Based on Nemo tools, Uzmobile plans to build a mobile laboratory that will enable them to evaluate radio coverage and the quality of different services (HD Voice, HD Video, Data, Social Media, Streaming video, and other VAS). The Russian service company DMTel, authorized distributor of Anite products in Russia, CIS, Ukraine and Georgia, will help Uzmobile build the laboratories and hence facilitate the Operator's needs related to radio measurements on their network.
