Telefónica Peru's Enterprises division has launched the 'Mobile Connect' service to allow businesses to offer hassle free log-in service to their websites and applications.

Simply by matching the user to their mobile phone, Mobile Connect allows them to log-in to websites and applications quickly without the need to remember passwords and usernames. The GSMA developed initiative, said both companies, is safe and secure and does not share any personal information without the user's permission.   

Mobile Connect enables seamless registration for insurance platforms, online shopping, banking transactions and many other processes that rely on a password entry. The service can be applied for both smartphones and low-end phones as it is installed on the SIM card.

At Telefónica we find that there is great concern in companies that offer products to their customers about security at registration. Among the benefits offered by 'Mobile Connect' highlights the increased security, reducing fraud and decreased need to remember multiple user names and passwords.
