NOS Partners with NAGRA for New 4K Ultra-HD Service in Portugal

NOS, a leading pay-TV service provider in Portugal has partnered with independent provider of content protection and multiscreen television solutions, NAGRA to launch the operator’s brand-new 4K Ultra HD RDK-enabled set-top box. 

The new Set-Top is secured by NAGRA anyCAST CONNECT, NAGRA’s converged CAS/DRM content security solution for broadcast, IPTV, OTT and the connected home.

According to NAGRA, the 4K-ready anyCAST CONNECT security employs a unique adaptive security paradigm that delivers the highest level of content protection achievable in any device to cost-effectively monetize any content over any network and on any device, including the ability to secure popular SVOD streaming services to set-top boxes.
