Telco Systems announced this week that the company has recently supplied 10GE demarcation devices to a prominent Tier 1 telecommunications service provider in Southeast Asia.

Telco Systems said that it has deployed hundreds of its T-Marc 3348 devices, enabling this Tier 1 service provider to expand its network capacity to 10GE.

T-Marc 3348 is an aggregation and demarcation device that supports high capacity Ethernet, MPLS and IP access. Telco Systems also implemented its EdgeGenie Orchestrator CE 2.0 management system, which gives the service provider a comprehensive framework for defining, monitoring and controlling service provisioning processes.

By expanding its network capacity to 10GE, the service provider has been able to support more broadband traffic, offer higher quality services and better serve its customers with stronger service level agreements (SLAs), said Telco Systems.

Raanan Tzemach, Vice President of Product and Marketing at Telco Systems
10GE is quickly becoming a requirement for service providers to meet the broadband demands of new services and customer usage. We are well positioned to help service providers around the world with this migration and we expect to be announcing similar projects soon.
