Telefónica, one of the world's leading telecom operators, has chosen P.I. Works, a leading global provider of mobile network performance improvement solutions, to provide network optimization services. As part of the agreement, P.I. Works will be using their own proprietary, centralized SON (Self-Organizing-Network) solution uSONTM, which will provide Telefónica the capability to solve capacity and coverage issues on its mobile network.

Telefónica's deployment of P.I. Works services and solutions, according to P.I. Works, has led to improvements in its radio access network quality as well as reduction in the network overload. This has improved subscriber mobile experience, and reduced the need for base station upgrades, said P.I Works.

Carlos López Calvo, Optimization and Performance Manager in RAN-GCTO unit
We collaborated with P.I. Works in the optimization of our network and the results were very good. Consequently, we have chosen P.I. Works as one of our radio optimization services partner for the Telefonica group.

Eren Sivasli, Director of Sales, P.I. Works.
This engagement shows P.I. Works as a trusted, reliable third-party chosen by Telefónica for improving global network performance, maximizing its network capacity and at the same time, improving customer experience in a cost-effective manner with our best in class SON solutions.
