Wi-Fi Quality of Experience (QoE) vendor, XCellAir has partnered with Benu Networks, a provider of Carrier Wi-Fi, SD-WAN and v-CPE for Wi-Fi and Cloud services to enable operators to deliver managed business services across Small Office Home Office (SoHo), Small Medium Business (SMB) and Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) markets. The partnership will see XCellAir’s XCellRAN Carrier Wi-Fi solution being integrated with Benu’s Virtual Service Edge (VSE).
According to CellAir, the XCellRAN solution provides operators scalable Wi-Fi assurance through automated provisioning of Wi-Fi access points, automated radio optimization delivering reliable performance, and automatic healing of the network without intervention by engineers. Once integrated with Benu’s VSE, this will provide a comprehensive, fully virtualized and simplified managed Wi-Fi solution that is vendor agnostic. Furthermore, operators that choose to work with the joint solution will also have the ability to expand into other Wi-Fi areas, including homespots, hotspots and metro area deployments.
