Dhiraagu Maldives recently announced that it has successfully completed major upgrade work of the fixed broadband network in the capital city of the country,  Male aimed at improving the overall service quality. As part of this project, the operator relocated some of its key technical equipment from their former site in Medhuziyaaraiy Magu to various enhanced sites across Male’ City. 

The upgrade saw some customers experiencing service interruption and degradations, which was subsequently addressed by the Operator, ensuring that impact on affected customers is minimized and that connections are promptly restored. 

In response to the interruption, the Management of Dhiraagu said that it will be providing all affected fixed broadband customers with a 20% discount on their bills for the month of March 2016.
