OnApp Launches Instant Cloud Appliances for Service Providers Image Credit: OnApp

OnApp has launched a new range of instant cloud appliances for service providers in collaboration with Dell OEM Solutions. By certifying and optimizing OnApp cloud management software on Dell PowerEdge servers and Dell Networking switches, OnApp said that it can now deliver a combined solution that can be rapidly adopted by service providers and system integrators looking to grow their cloud offering.

The collaboration will enable customers to purchase the OnApp cloud management platform, fully certified and factory-installed on Dell platforms, and delivered direct to their datacenter. With fully racked and cabled options also available, service providers can add power and a network connection, activate their OnApp control panel, and they're ready to start offering cloud services.

The OnApp cloud appliances are based on the latest Dell PowerEdge R630 and R730 servers, Dell S4048-ON switches, and a full install of the OnApp cloud platform.

Ditlev Bredahl, CEO, OnApp
We've made it easier than ever to launch new cloud services on OnApp, taking away the complexity of configuring the right hardware for your cloud and providing everything you need, with one price and one place to go for support.

Dermot O'Connell, General Manager  Executive Director, OEM Soutions, Dell EMEA
The solution is pre integrated and validated for easy deployment so Service Providers can focus their resources on differentiating their Cloud business and delivering predictable and reliable services to their customers.
