Millimeter-wave technology developer, Siklu announced that its interference-free products provide scalable capacity to cost-effectively backhaul a vast range of video cameras, including those of the latest 4K HD models.
Siklu’s mmWave family of 60, 70/80GHz palm-sized products extend camera cascading with diminished latency, making them ideal for surveillance system connectivity, said the vendor. The exceptionally low link delay achieved with Siklu’s millimeter wave products expedites viewing the feeds in real time, said Siklu.
According to Siklu, today’s new 4K cameras provide an increasingly better resolution. A prime example is the AXIS Q3709-PVE Network Camera, the first camera in a new series of multi-sensor fixed domes with panoramic overview from Axis Communications. Much alike Siklu’s palm-sized radios, it is outdoor-ready and discreetly blends into urban environments.

Capturing images is one part; getting them to every place they need to go is where Siklu comes into the frame. Siklu’s point-to-point wireless radios resourcefully deliver secure fiber-like wireless connectivity, and support predicted performance for today’s and tomorrow’s advanced 4K HD cameras.
