Poland's Play Deploys Over-the-Air(OTA) SIM Management Platform

Play (P4), the third largest mobile operator in Poland with more than 13.5 million subscribers has deployed CALLUP’s remote SIM cards management system – SIM OTA. CALLUP is a provider of Value Added Services (VAS) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.

According to Callup, Play uses CALLUP’s SIM OTA platform to control and manage the entire life cycle of its SIM cards remotely – from activation of new accounts, through various upgrades and roaming updates, to SIM card cancellation and swap. Using SIM OTA, operators can create dynamic distribution lists based on various criteria, such as file types and actual content. The distribution lists enable the operators to update specific groups of cards according to the pre-defined parameters.

Andrzej Milkowski, Network Planning Director at Play
As a very fast growing mobile operator we needed a system that would support our growth and manage our millions of SIM cards in the most reliable way.

Alon Roth, CALLUP’s CEO
Play’s selection of SIM OTA is testament to the proven track record of this system, which is gaining increasing popularity among mobile operators worldwide.
