Qualcomm via its subsidiary, Qualcomm Arteros in partnership with several OEMs, including Airtight, Asus, D-Link, Linksys and TP-Link, has launched a new Self Optimizing Solution(SON) solution for WiFi networks.

Qualcomm Wi-Fi SON is aimed at simplifying Wi-Fi networking in the home and office while optimizing end-to-end performance and offering the best user experience. According to Qualcomm, the SON solution enables plug-and-play deployment with autonomous performance optimization. It can also actively detect and resolve connectivity bottlenecks, while securing the network from unauthorized access.

Qualcomm Wi-Fi SON is one such initiative, which provides a comprehensive set of solutions to simplify the deployment of Wi-Fi networks in homes and offices, while also providing the best performance and experience to users.
