Swisscom has extended its partnership with Ericsson to drive further development of the mobile network, expanding its competitive position and customer centricity. As part of the extended partnership, a dedicated mobile network engineering team will be formed that will be made up of an equal number of Ericsson and Swisscom employees to find new ways to optimize the mobile network.

Both companies will collaborate more closely in developing, planning, implementing and operating the mobile network so that the latest technologies are available in the Swisscom network within a short space of time.
