Hewlett Packard Enterprise(HPE) and Microsoft have extended their partnership to provide customers with integrated hybrid cloud deployments leveraging HPE's hardware and Microsoft Azure public cloud. Both the tech giants will also create HPE Azure Centers of Excellence in Palo Alto, California and Houston, Texas, to ensure customers have a seamless hybrid cloud experience when leveraging Azure across HPE infrastructure, software and services.
As part of the expanded partnership, Microsoft Azure is selected as a preferred public cloud partner for HPE customers while HPE will serve as a preferred partner in providing infrastructure and services for Microsoft’s hybrid cloud offerings. In addition, HPE will enable Azure consumption and services on every HPE server, which allows customers to rapidly realize the benefits of hybrid cloud, said HPE in a statement.
Together, HPE and Microsoft will also introduce the first hyper-converged system with hybrid cloud capabilities, the HPE Hyper-Converged 250 for Microsoft Cloud Platform System Standard. The system will combine HPE ProLiant technology and Azure to bring Microsoft’s cloud services to customers’ data centres.
