UK-based unified communications(UC) management platform software company, VOSS Solutions has unveiled a new Analytics module to address the challenge of gathering data about service usage and adoption, user trends and license consumption, in a multi-application UC environment. The Analytics Module is offered as an optional add-on for the VOSS-4-UC management platform and Cisco Unified Communication Domain Manager (CUCDM).

The new module provides an intuitive web-based portal to allow UC system administrators to quickly retrieve and analyze information about users, devices, services, licenses and transactions. Administrators are able to access critical information about their UC services from the Analytics portal, and drill down to the detail or export the data for external use, such as billing and analysis, said the company. The Analytics module also comes pre-packaged with a suite of out-of-the-box reports.

Derek Smith, Product Marketing Manager, VOSS Solutions
The VOSS Analytics module will give organizations a much better understanding of their entire UC consumption, activity levels and resource utilization across the various customers, site and users.

Mike Frayne, CEO, VOSS Solutions
Releasing the Analytics module is a great step forward for the VOSS UC management offering. It will help our customers understand which services are associated with (and favored by) users, present trends in adoption, and help make better decisions on allocation of finite resources, plus improve decision-making on which future services should be invested in.
