Affirmed Networks, Wednesday announced that Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has successfully deployed its virtual Evolved Packet Core (vEPC) solution with geo-redundancy to support the delivery of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) services across the Kingdom. The delivery of M2M connectivity enables STC's customers to gain real-time information on their respective services and will help reduce costs and improve the productivity and safety of their various assets.

Affirmed Networks said that the solution which is part of its Mobile Content Cloud portfolio for Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) significantly transforms and advances the state of mobile networks by moving away from legacy infrastructure into a more agile and flexible virtualized architecture.
