China Mobile has partnered with ZTE to roll out Voice-over-LTE(VoLTE ) high definition voice services in the Hunan province. Both companies have successfully completed a large-capacity field test in that area. Hunan is China Mobile’s first province to have completed the rollout of 4G+ commercial network in the country.

In August, ZTE was awarded contracts in China Mobile’s Phase 2 CM-IMS centralized tender in major provinces including Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hubei, Hunan, Shandong, Sichuan and Fujian.

Early this year, the chinese vendor successfully completed China Mobile’s large-capacity VoLTE tests including network function, service function, performance test and interoperability testing.
