Huawei Partners India's Infosys to Launch Connected Stadium Solution

Huawei has partnered with Infosys, India's second-largest software services firm, to jointly launch a smart stadium solution that will provide high-speed Wi-Fi access and smart services for users in sports stadiums and exhibition centers.

Under the agreemnt, Huawei will provide WLAN network infrastructure via its Agile Network solution, while Infosys will offer its Entertainment Experience Platform, a multi-tenant, cloud-based platform with managed operations and services. The interconnection between Infosys’ and Huawei’s solutions will enable innovative service experiences and operational models, said the companies. 

Since rolling out its Agile Stadium Solution in 2012, Huawei has been operating wireless network projects for sports stadiums worldwide. To date, Huawei claims that it has deployed Wi-Fi networks in more than 20 famous stadiums worldwide, such as the home stadiums of Borussia Dortmund (BVB) in Germany, AFC Ajax in the Netherlands, and Gold Coast Suns in Australia, as well as the national stadiums of countries such as China, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.
