Deutsche Telekom’s Greek subsidiary, OTE has won a major contract with Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company AG (HBC), one of the largest bottlers of The Coca-Cola Company’s products worldwide. The data center outsourcing deal, worth €43 million, covers 28 countries in the EMEA region, where Coca-Cola HBC is present, catering for the needs of more than 589 million consumers. 

The provision of data services encompasses all transactions and operations, including ordering, CRM, ERP and call center services. As for disaster recovery services, they will be provided by T-Systems Hungary, said Deutsche Telekom. 

The agreement represents the largest ICT deal in the private sector for Duetsche Telekom Europe while for Coca-Cola HBC, this contract enables it to switch from the primary data center in Athens to the disaster recovery site in Budapest, hence offering enhanced risk mitigating possibilities.
