Aviat Networks, a leading provider of microwave networking solutions, Wednesday announced that it has entered into an agreement to provide microwave solutions to a Tier 1 mobile operator in the United States. A new Aviat customer, the operator will deploy CTR 8540 and CTR 8312 microwave solutions in support of its nationwide LTE rural rollout. The order also includes ODU 600 split-mount radios and Aviat's ProVision network management system.

Aviat said that the capabilities of the product and its extensive local support are key reasons for customer's decision to select Aviat.
