Brightstar, a SoftBank Group subsidiary and a leading specialised wireless distributor, Monday announced a partnership with Australian-based fulfillment solutions firm, Temando to bring new service solutions to Australian telecoms retailers and operators that will improve customers’ experience.

The partnership will enable Brightstar to deliver economical and highly personalized customer freight and service options to Australian customers, by incorporating Temando’s multi-carrier platform and smart routing software. This technology can unify inventory across multiple locations, access multiple couriers and delivery options at once, predict courier speed, accurately estimate shipping costs based on consumers’ exact locations, and more, said Brightsar in a statement.

Brightstar and Temando have already launched joint services with a major Australian wireless device retailer and intend to build on this momentum with more operator and retailers joint customers throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Globally, Brightstar’s operator and retail clients are placing more and more emphasis on a highly personalised customer experience, which is what we call ‘final mile’ delivery or the ‘customer-facing moment of truth.
