Telus has joined forces with a network of more than 70 carriers to offer a global SIM card that delivers seamless connectivity and simplified billing across more than 200 networks around the world.

Telus said that the new Global IoT Connectivity Platform connects internet-enabled devices around the world at simplified rates without roaming charges or currency risk. For example, a shipping company with a fleet tracking solution can continue to monitor its vehicles when they travel to the U.S., Mexico and beyond without swapping out SIM cards, worrying about connectivity or encountering billing surprises.
The solution also provides an at-a-glance dashboard view of the company's connected IoT devices, and SIM cards can be activated or deactivated, monitored for usage and set to provide data alerts no matter where they are.

As Canadian businesses expand into new markets, they are faced with negotiating contracts in different languages, managing their connectivity on multiple platforms and paying bills in foreign currencies to keep their IoT devices connected. By working with an extensive ecosystem of carriers around the world, we're making it simple for our customers and IoT partners to stay connected in more countries than any other carrier network.
