SK Telecom, today announced its cooperation with Samsung and LG Electronics to interconnect their Smart Home Platforms to enable the delivery of Smart Home services for its customers. This will allow SK Telecom's Smart Home users to be able to control and monitor Samsung and LG's smart home electronic products from SK Telecom's Smart Home platform.  

In April, SK Telecom and Samsung came to an agreement to integrate their platforms, enabling Samsung's products such as refrigerators, washing machines, air-conditioners, air-purifiers, robot vacuum cleaners and ovens that offered Internet connectivity to be controlled via SK Telecom's Smart Home app. 

The similar agreement with LG Electronics was inked at the recent IFA 2015. .

Cooperation with two global consumer electronics giants Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics is expected to take smart home to the next level, providing users with greater value and convenience.
