Anite, a global leader in wireless network testing technology, has signed an agreement with Nokia Networks under the Operations Support Systems interoperability initiative (OSSii) for access to Nokia's OSS interfaces. Integration with Nokia product interfaces ensures that Anite's Nemo products can accurately and comprehensively analyze wireless network data in their operator customer LTE networks.

OSSii was initiated to enable OSS interoperability between different OSS vendors' equipment, enabling easier interoperability between OSS systems, reducing overall OSS integration costs, and enabling shorter time-to-market. Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia are the initiating parties of OSSii.

Recent partnerships under the OSSii are as follows:

   - Ericsson Signs OSSii License Agreements with Cisco & Tektronix Communications

   - Huawei, Ascom Collaborate on OSS Interoperability Initiative (OSSii)

   - NSN Signs OSS interoperability initiative (OSSii) with Huawei for Multi-Vendor Management

   - Reverb Networks Joins Nokia Networks in OSS Interoperability Initiative

Kai Ojala, CTO at Anite's Network Testing Business
Our operator customers will greatly benefit from our co-operation with Nokia. Ensuring our analytics products Nemo Xynergy and Nemo WindCatcher can access and accurately analyze OSS data is imperative. The analysis and optimization of LTE networks is becoming even more complex. We need to be able to utilize multiple data sources and analyze and optimize networks effectively and efficiently. Ultimately, the gain will be better service and network quality for the benefit of the end-users.
