WSO2, an open source application development software company announced that O2 Slovakia, one of the top three mobile service providers in Slovakia is leveraging its open source WSO2 API Manager to provide RESTful APIs for its self-care application. The self-care mobile application is aimed at reducing help-desk costs, increasing service-center efficiency, and building loyalty by increasing customer satisfaction. The WSO2's API manager will enable O2 Slovakia to maintain a high customer satisfaction rating across its 1.7 million customers.

According to WSO2, its solution helps O2 to address the technological demands of the mobile app in the areas of security, availability and functionality, including enabling the Operator to achieve tighter security integration.
