Dhiraagu, a telecoms operator in Maldives and subsidiary of Batelco, has selected ENABIL to implement its next-generation business support system (BSS) and service control network. The platform is based on Oracle's BSS that will include convergent charging, customer and billing care, and service control plane.

According to ENABIL, the deployment which will be delivered through a private cloud model will enable convergence across all lines of business including mobile, fixed line/broadband and IPTV and will have the flexibility to manage changing market requirements and support the rapid release of new services.

The solution utilizes the core Oracle Communications BSS technology, including Oracle Communications Converged Charging and Policy Solution, Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management featuring Elastic Charging Engine, and Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control. It will be enhanced by ENABIL's web-based Customer Experience Manager (CEM).

Mohamed Abdul Gadir, Acting Director, Information Systems at Dhiraagu
The flexibility of Oracle's billing solution together with ENABIL's customer care system will allow us to improve services, offer more range of services with improved flexibility and allow customers to take better control of the services. This new CBS system is a great platform for our customers, as it gives us greater flexibility, improving the time taken for us to launch new services.

Sandy Wiersma, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing at ENABIL Solutions
We are thrilled to have been selected by Dhiraagu as their customer care and billing partner. Dhiraagu's selection provides a strong endorsement of our business and service model. Clearly, being the established market leader in the Maldives has some very unique challenges. We could not be more proud of our team's ability to meet these challenges head on and instill the required confidence that Dhiraagu needed to select ENABIL.
