Allot Communications, a leading global provider of intelligent broadband solutions, Tuesday announced that the company has won a contract with a new Tier-1 fixed operator in the Asia-Pacific region for its Service Gateway Tera that comes with a 100GE interface; and its WebSafe solution.
According to Allot, the high-performance platform provides a unified framework for traffic detection, policy enforcement, and service integration across the network. The Tier-1 operator will also benefit from Allot WebSafe, a carrier-class security solution enabling regulatory compliance and which is integrated with the platform and thus requiring no additional hardware or configuration changes, said the company.
