Kabel Deutschland (KD), the largest cable television operator in Germany, has deployed IneoQuest’s cloud-based video Intelligence platform to probide KD with real-time service experince visibility on their Over-the-Top (OTT) video service. IneoQuest will provide its Audience Measurement Platform for Adaptive Streaming (AMP ASM) and the complementary AMP Endpoint Analytics SDK.

IneoQuest Technologies, the global leader in video monitoring, reporting and analytics said that the solutions anonymously gathers, analyzes, filters, and reports operational and behavioral metrics directly from playback devices and network monitoring elements. By leveraging IneoQuest’s AMP ASM platform for their OTT initiatives, KD has the visibility and intelligence needed to know when service issues occur, how the audience reacts to those issues, and help identify the cause, said IneoQuest.

Bernd Hansen, Team Leader, Service Management at Kabel Deutschland
At Kabel Deutschland, we focus on providing quality subscriber viewing experiences. In order to know if we are meeting viewer expectations, it is critical that we measure the quality we are delivering in real time, across our networks. IneoQuest has been helping us do that in our cable infrastructure, and now with AMP we can extend that quality intelligence to our mobile device viewers. With AMP integrated in the device we can now anonymously measure key playback parameters in fine detail and can make informed business decisions based on that.

Raphael Burgener, Senior Director of Sales and Head of EMEA Operations at IneoQuest
We are honored that Kabel Deutschland has chosen to extend their use of our Quality Assurance solutions into their OTT initiatives. We value our relationship with Kabel Deutschland and look forward to continuing to support their focus on quality viewing experiences, regardless of device or network type.
