Telco Systems, the leading provider of innovative SDN & NFV and multi-service Carrier Ethernet 2.0 and MPLS edge access solutions, Tuesday announced a $3.7M win for an initial contract to provide cyber-security solution to a government defense ministry. The cyber-security solution, based on the company’s premium 10G networking platforms and Celare’s proprietary software, will be deployed in two stages in the last quarter of this year and the first quarter of next. Deployment is expected to be completed in 2016 with further expansion in the pipeline.

Telco Systems said that it utilizes Celare’s software which enables comprehensive network monitoring for detecting, investigating and analyzing network threats and advanced persistent threats (APTs). Several of these solutions are currently undergoing POC programs with potential customers. Celare’s technology detects unknown threats based on complex algorithms for identifying network anomalies.

Telco Systems expects accumulated orders from this account to increase to over $10M by 2017, with a total value estimated to reach approximately $20M over the next five years.
