ZTE, Wednesday announced that the company is supporting China Mobile in the deployment of 3-Carrier Aggregation 4G LTE-A (LTE-Advanced) service based on CAT 9 devices powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon 810 processor with X10 LTE that can reach downlink rates of 300Mbps in Guangzhou.

ZTE said that it supported the upgrade of China Mobile’s network without a major overhaul of infrastructure and software, testament to ZTE’s flexible and efficient software defined radio (SDR) platform. The commercial deployment of 3-carrier aggregation is a breakthrough for LTE-A development, giving operators increased network capabilities to provide superior user experience to subscribers, added ZTE.
